The Legend of the Kraken, illustrated for Lerner Publishing Group. I imagined it as a creature that came out when the worst of storms had already battered ships. It lived down so deep that only extreme turbulence could wake it. It's skin is suppossed to be somewhat bioluminescent and slimey. FYI this image was finished before the 2nd Pirates of the Carribean was debued, so although I love that Kraken, this one was my own idea.
